NORWAY WON THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2009!

With a SUPREME victory, Alexander Rybak is now the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow! He has also beat the record for most points EVER in this contest, which started in 1956!!! In addition to this extraordinary victory, Norway also has another reason to celebrate, the national holiday, May 17th!

Tomorrow I will meet up with friends and family in the town of Namsos and celebrate our national holiday. I will wear the national costume, the bunad. I'll post pictures of it. I'm very pleased with this year's 17th of May, because my bunad fits me this year! It did not last year XD hahaha

I have my Japanese exam coming up on Tuesday... I have to spend all my waking hours to study for it! XD I wish Hisato would get online so he could help me. He always helps me with my Japanese <3 ^__^

I love reading the posts by people who are angry that their country didn't win and are taking it out on Norway. :D It makes me want to comment with "NA NA NA NAA NA! :nana: We won! You lose! That makes us WINNERS and you a LOOOOOoooOOOoOOSER! Oh yeah!"

YESS XD Have you read some of the things the British newspapers have written about Alexander Rybak? XD
Apparently it's stuff like "Rybak should get his violin stick in his eye" and stuff XD ahahah

As much as I love England, I wanna sing "NA NA NA NA NA -- Rybak won over you all!" >DDD

Almost every single English "newspaper" (and I'm not even counting the tabloids) are just trying to make money by printing the most scandalous things as fast as possible, without taking the time to check facts and sometimes they just lie their asses off to sell stuff, even if it means having to print an apology after. :frustrated:
I can't tell you how many lies The Sun "newspaper" printed during the year I was there. My host family bought it and I read it at the breakfast table. It's filled with bullshit. They even lied about Harry Potter :wow:
